Goodness, Nancy, you are getting carried away! And the results are impressive! Although I must confess that I don’t share your interest in crochet. I think knitted garments just look nicer. But I agree that it is possible to make a greater variety of shapes, like animals and sushi (!) by crocheting rather than knitting. Sometime when you are visiting, I will have to show you the crocheted lace table cloth I got in Bulgaria. It is amazing! And I can’t imagine making anything that lovely by knitting.

I am quite surprised that I have gotten this interested in crochet and that I am having so much fun messing around with it! 🙂 I had never had an interest previously. I think some of what has gotten me hooked (hee, hee!) is that I am not all that interested in making garments (too big and time-consuming), hence my lack of interest in knitting. But the possibility of making an afghan using a variety of squares is a bit like quilting. And then finding out that one can learn to make crochet sushi, well, that got me!
